FAQ

Questions, answered.

Something else on your mind? Ask us during your free visit.

How much does a new lawn or hedge cost in Vancouver?

Every yard is different. The cost depends on the area or length, soil preparation, and access to your yard. That’s why we start with a free site visit: we see your yard, listen to what you want, and give you a clear scope and price in your plan. Have a budget in mind? Tell us, and we’ll design around it.

Sod or seed?

Seed costs less but takes a full season to fill in. Sod gives you a usable lawn in two to three weeks.

When is the best time to install a lawn?

Spring and early fall, so it can root before summer watering limits or winter cold.

Which hedge works best for privacy?

Cedar is the classic choice on the West Coast: evergreen, dense and well suited to our climate. We’ll choose the right size for your space.

When can a cedar hedge be planted?

Fall through early spring is ideal, since winter rain helps it root. New hedges need regular watering through their first summer.
